The foremost reason behind the Living Area refit was to reinstall the architecturally designed multi-finished glazed screen.

It was drawen up based on old drawings and glass finishes were specified as close as possible to the original.

The new screen lead to new lighting, drapery, carpet and paint finishes.

The carpeted open stair was stripped back to it's original timber, sanded and polished.

The result was a much warmer, yet lighter and brighter retrospective contempoary space.
