Muritai Road Kitchen & Laundry

The original space was tired and gloomy but with strong 'bones'.

The client wanted to pay homage to the character and era of the house and make reference to the garden directly outside.

Natural materials were used and a palatte put together that would reflect the house and the client herself being the dweller

A display wall and open shelving was required for the client's personal interest in pottery - being a potter herself. This was achieved with a combination of materiality and lighting.
