Beatson Cottage Bathroom

The Beatson Cottage was in a complete state of disrepair when first visited.

A lot of time was spent gutting the house and rediscovering original features.

There was very little useable space and so the original range -hearth that had been bricked up was back to full use with the stove and oven installed back in the space.

The hearth in the parlour was also rediscovered as well as the beautiful matai floors.

The bathroom that was also in a grievous state of disrepair, was rearranged to maximise natural light and installed with new fixtures and fittings appropriate for a heritage home.
